Three new wallpapers, all lovely girls.

My desktop got brighter, and so did my mood for writing code. Turns out you don’t need much — just enough eye candy.

Switched to a new wallpaper — a girl by a sunlit window, the room dark except for her.

Coding past midnight, the screen light and the wallpaper light make quite a pair. Today’s lesson: don’t put side effects inside Svelte 5’s $derived, or state updates become magic. Note to self, before I trip again.

Went through my whole wallpaper library at my desk and picked out seven girls. Couldn’t bear to delete any, so here they all are.

Different styles, same cuteness — this hoarding habit is beyond saving.

Picked up a set of anime scenery wallpapers — mountains, sea, sky, each with its own palette.

I rotate them as my desktop, one every few days. Cheaper joy than a new mousepad.

Finally finished the book I’d been putting off for three months. The ending wasn’t bad, though hardly a surprise — but finishing it at all is healing on its own.
